Definitely unforgettable, the Mugello valley means great food. Of substance, genuineness and quality, the typical Mugello dishes are many and renowned. the most delicious and famous is the “tortelli di patate”, made with beef, duck, rabbit, wild boar or mushroom sauce, accompanied with red wines. We are in a valley with villages, medieval castles, rivers, lakes, sacred buildings. The most important are the Pieve di Sant'Agata which stands in the homonymous village, the Museum of Sacred Art "Beato Angelico" located at Vicchio aimed to protect and preserve the religious art of the Vicchio and Mugello territory. Here you find artworks such as the terracotta statue of "San Giovanni Battista", a "Madonna with child" and a panel depicting the "Virgin with Saints and Prophets".
