WIDESPREAD NEW YEAR'S EVE 2025 - FIVE SQUARES OF FLORENCE


Five squares will be involved in a New Year's celebration on 31 December 2024, promoted by the Municipality of Florence and coordinated by MUS.E with the support of Toscana Energia, with events aimed at all types of audiences: artistic-musical initiatives with gospel choirs in Piazza San Giovanni, jazz music in Piazza Santissima Annunziata, live orchestra with dancing activities in Piazza Santa Croce and in Oltrarno, in via Palazzuolo and via Maso Finiguerra marching band itinerants with parking in Piazza del Carmine for the time necessary for the midnight countdown. Finally, in Piazza della Signoria, a live multidisciplinary entertainment show.

NEW YEAR'S EVE 2025 IN THE THEATERS OF FLORENCE

Spend the last day of the year in a special way, surrounded by the magic of the theatre. Many the shows scheduled in Florence for December 31st:

  • “Magnificent Presence” by Ozpetek at the Teatro della Pergola
  • "The Strange Couple" with Gianluca Guidi and Giampiero Ingrassia at the Teatro Verdi
  • “Two Cursed Friends”, Giovanni Veronesi and Rocco Papaleo at the Puccini Theatre
  • “Partita a Quattro” with lyrics by Nicola Manzari at the Teatro del Cestello
  • “Gli uncompiuti” by Alessandro Riccio at the Fiesole Theatre
