March in Florence: the freedom to explore
Be.Free, the events and experiences of this March with Destination Florence.
Florence is a city that invites you to explore every corner freely. It’s an open-air museum—an often-used yet entirely fitting description—where you can lose yourself without needing a ticket, a queue, or a schedule. Here, beauty is everywhere; all you have to do is look. There are two exhibitions that you can now find while walking through the streets of Florence:
- "Giannelli. Il Cielo Sopra Firenze": until May 15th his gigantic 5m statues, The Watcher and the two Korf17s, are on display in Piazza San Lorenzo and Piazza Duomo
- "Thomas J Price in Florence": until June 11th you will find his iconic installations at Palazzo Vecchio, in Piazza della Signoria and in the Museo Novecento.
So, let yourself wander, not just through the alleys of the historic center, but beyond, and beyond.
