It was 1968 when Jethro Tull performed for the first time in the famous Marquee Club in Wardour Street, London.

The group will become one of the most successful and long-lasting band of that time, selling over 60 million albums worldwide and touching people's cultural consciousness over the years. Their debut album 'This Was' comes out earlier this year. The founder, frontman and flutist, Ian Anderson, rightly has the merit of having inserted the flute in rock, as a frontline instrument. Jethro Tull is one of the greatest rock-progressive band of all time and their immense and varied catalog of works includes folk, blues, classical music and heavy rock. The concerts that will be held on the occasion of the anniversary will be characterized by a wide mix of materials.
