EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Baroque Festival Florence is the only festival of Baroque music in Florence, which includes more than twenty concerts until June 30 with great collaborations and musicians of international importance. The festival is organized by Konzert Opera Florence (K.O.F.), a non-profit music association that for eight years has been offering concerts of Renaissance and Baroque music in places of artistic interest in Florence.

It starts on Friday 3 May 2024 and will end on 30 June. The concerts in the Church of Santa Felicita or in the Marucelliana Library are free of charge; those in the Chapter House of Santa Felicita and in the cloister have a variable price; possibility of subscription to 20 concerts of the KOF Association.

The venues for the concerts are: the Chapter House of Santa Felicita, with frescoes from the Giotto school, the Church of Santa Felicita (with its astonishing Pontormo), and the Marucelliana Library; two will be outdoors in the cloister of Santa Felicita (in case of rain, they will move to the adjacent Chapter Hall).
