BORDOLESI IN TOSCANA
Bordolese is a type of wine that has always been especially popular in the industry. However, what exactly is it? Bordolese is basically a mixture of specific wines with a variety of origins. Bordolese in itself refers to grape vines that are native to the Bordeaux area, including Cabarnet sauvignon, Cabarnet franc, and Merlot. Tuscany is a region that has been historically recognized for its amazing wines, most of which are inspired by Bordolese wine, often called Supertuscans. Vineyards all over Tuscany are constantly working on new ways to play around with their Bordolese mixtures and improve them… Which, considering how Tuscan wine is already envied by the rest of the world, seems hard to imagine. From Maremma, to the Tuscan coast, to basically all other areas of Tuscany, wine growers are continually modifying and creating their own versions of these wines in order to be the best of the best in the whole industry.
