What you will find

Water as microscope of nature is the exhibition that opens the Leonardian celebrations that will take place around the world in 2019, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of death of the icon-figure of the history of humanity.

The 72 sheets of the Leicester Code, the famous "Code on the flight of birds", four spectacular sheets of the Codex Atlanticus, two precious bi-sheets of the Arundel Code, 10 precious volumes between manuscripts and incunabula and a series of digital films are on display. of the machines and the themes treated by Leonardo in the code.

The visit also includes a guided tour of the most important rooms of the Uffizi Museum where you will admire Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano and Caravaggio; walking in the corridors of the Gallery where the Medici, with their ingenuity and their passions have laid the foundations of modern thought.

You can also observe the Vasari Corridor structure from the café terrace, where you will enjoy one of the most splendid views of Brunelleschi's dome.
