The MuDEV is a cultural network project that unites 11 Municipalities of Empolese Valdelsa. This is an area of 753 square kilometers in central Tuscany. To date, 20 museums make up the network. The
This large open-air museum invites you to slow tourism; you can decide yourself how to tackle your own personal pathway, whether on foot, by bike, on horseback, in a camper van, on a motorbike or from a car seat with the window down.
Visits can be made with The Art Pilgrim’s Passport. By purchasing the unique ticket on Destination Florence, you will receive a voucher valid to recieve the “passaport” at the ticket offices; the Passport gives you the access to each of the 20 museums included, for a year (365 day from the date of purchase at the ticket offices):

Your visit does not end at the walls of the museum but continues into the unimaginably beautiful landscape, as one loses oneself among the gentle Florentine hills, perhaps to end the day by sitting at a table with a glass of good wine. We were inspired by the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrimage route - which crosses a large section of the area - to offer paths to follow as a type of modern 'pilgrim of art'.
Please note that reservations may be required to access the museums. Please contact the museums and check before going there.
