Roberta Giannoccaro was born in Florence in 1973 where she took her degree in Graphic Advertising at the Institute of Fine Arts in 1992.

She started learning the mosaic art from her father who was disciple of the great master of the Studio Vaticano del Mosaico (Vatican Study of Mosaic) Vincenzo Renzi. She then decides to study mosaic art in depth and becomes a specialist in the complex composition of micromosaic.

Her culture descends from the classic art which she reflects with extreme and natural refinement in her works of exquisite workmanship and great sensibility.

Roberta achieves the perfection of execution of her works, thanks to the choice of colours that she composes herself after careful and scrupulous study and various attempts to obtain the right shade.

Today she is regarded as an esteemed master of micromosaic, an art that is by now fated to disappear due to the long preparation and execution times.
