EVENT DESCRIPTION: 

Periferico Festival, organized by Teatri d'Imbarco now in its sixth edition, is a multidisciplinary event that actively contributes to the urban regeneration of the Le Piagge neighborhood.

The Festival offers a variety of events including prose, music, visual arts and workshops, hosted in courtyards of apartment buildings, open spaces of the Teatro delle Spiagge and at Centro Giovani L’isola, creating a dynamic and participatory atmosphere.

The programme includes ten prose and concert titles inspired by the works of great writers such as Simenon, Ortese and Dürrenmatt, with a tribute to cyclist Gino Bartali on the occasion of the passage of the Tour de France. Music addresses issues such as emigration and the rediscovery of Italian folk traditions, supported by environmental and educational workshops in collaboration with Libera.
