EVENT DESCRIPTION:

From May 25 and throughout the summer, the City of Florence and MUS.E are organizing a rich program of guided tours of the city's main defensive architectural structures.

Program of visits

Porta San Frediano, in collaboration with Fondazione Angeli del Bello

Dates: from June 1 to September 30

Hours: Saturday and Sunday, from 5 p.m to 8 p.m.

Entrance ticket 6 €

Torre della Zecca and Torre San Niccolò

Dates: from June 1 to September 30

Hours: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. (visits every half hour)

Entrance ticket 6 €

Fortezza da Basso, in collaboration with Firenze Fiera

Dates: July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 14

Schedule: Saturdays, 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Entrance ticket 8 €

All visits to the gates, towers and fortresses can be enjoyed by everyone from age 8; they cost €6 each; and are free for Florentine Card holders.

In fact, all proposals are developed in tune with UNESCO and Agenda 2030 principles and aim to encourage increasingly effective enjoyment of Florence's cultural heritage and landscape by both casual visitors and the local community.
