EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Scents of floral and fruity bouquets, to welcome spring 2025 together with AIS Toscana, which for the weekend of 8 and 9 March returns as the protagonist at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence with the Eccellenza di Toscana, the unmissable tasting open to the public which every year brings together hundreds of producers from Tuscany, with their most prestigious labels (over 900), representative of the true Tuscan wine excellence.
At the center of the event are the tastings at the tasting tables proposed by individual producers, which each visitor can discover independently or through AIS Tours led by professional sommeliers for small groups.
The wine and oil tasting pills with the AIS Wine School and the AIS Oil School for beginners who are approaching the world of wine and oil tasting for the first time also remain strong points of the Eccellenza di Toscana program. To which is added also in this edition the collaboration with ANAG for guided tastings of spirits and with Catinari for a series of Chocolate Schools with tasting of artisanal chocolate.
However, from this year there will be an interesting novelty, which will concern the world of craft beer: thanks to the collaboration with Fermento Birra - an information portal which also includes the bimonthly magazine of the same name as well as courses dedicated to tasting and homebrewing and events of national importance - a dedicated area and guided tasting pills will be provided.
Both days of the event will be accompanied by "excellent" Masterclasses, one in collaboration with the Women of Wine, to underline - precisely in conjunction with Women's Day - the importance of their role in the world of wine at multiple levels. In fact, the Association welcomes 118 members, including producers, sommeliers, but also journalists, bloggers and influencers who have brought added value with their professionalism to the communication of wine culture.
