Last year, over thirty-seven thousand people walked the streets of Florence in the name of solidarity, health and culture. Corri La Vita, this year scheduled for Sunday 29 September, is the first non-competitive running event in Italy that combines these values and which this year is organizing its twenty-second edition.

The river of participants will wind from the Cascine Park to the extraordinary setting of the Loggia dei Lanzi in Piazza della Signoria: people of all ages, families, groups of colleagues will participate in the event coloring Florence green, thanks to the official T-shirts that this Ferragamo created this year specifically for the Association. Participants will be able to choose between two routes with different levels of difficulty - one of approximately 11 km dedicated to those who want to run and one of 6 km for those who prefer to enjoy the cultural destinations along the route.

Furthermore, the "Health Village" will be created in Piazza della Repubblica where - from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th - it will be possible to carry out mammography at the ISPRO mobile unit, follow gymnastics and pilates lessons, undergo aptitude tests, communicate with nutritionists and sports doctors and collect the t-shirts in the specially set up gazebo.

Corri La Vita will offer everyone the opportunity to spend a unique weekend in Florence: during the weekend, in fact, participants will have the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful places in the city for free, such as Palazzo Strozzi, where it will be possible to discover the new exhibition “Helen Frankenthaler: Painting without rules”, the Ferragamo Museum with “Salvatore Ferragamo 1898-1960”, the Museo degli Innocenti, the Astrophysical Observatory of Arcetri, the Santa Croce Complex, the Natural History museum La specola, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, HZero Museum, the Stibbert Museum and many others.

The graphic testimonial of this edition is the recently restored equestrian statue of Cosimo I by Giambologna which is located right in Piazza della Signoria and which for the occasion is wearing the Corri La Vita t-shirt. The first testimonial of the 2024 edition is Michael Stipe, the unforgettable leader of REM who, wearing the Corri La Vita t-shirt, offers us a truly powerful image.
