FULL PROGRAM
2 and a half hour workshop in which Jessica will welcome you in her studio, in the cloister of the magnificent setting of the Vecchio Conventino, a historical complex that by vocation and identity welcomes artists and craftsmen.
The Lab
Monotype printing has very ancient origins, it is the use of the most disparate objects as printing tools. Its characteristic is the unpredictability of the result. The work will take place in several stages, from the preparation of the paper support to the drafting of an atmosphere using liquid vegetable watercolor colors with the aid of the brush, to the coloring of the plant and to the priming on the sheet, with the help of rollers, of the plant silhouettes.
In the final phase, the outlines of the print will be accentuated, with the introduction of points of light thanks to strokes of color. This laboratory takes place thanks to the use of wild flowers and fresh aromatic herbs. Non-toxic plant products. Original artist's technique.
