EVENT DESCRIPTION:
A journey through painting, sculpture, architecture, photography and music with artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The visitor will be invited to explore realities that are sometimes desired and other times feared, guided by literary quotes that divide the exhibition into 12 sections. These "visions" reveal themselves to the eyes of visitors, offering perspectives on the multiple and sometimes contrasting urban identities, always oriented towards overcoming the intrinsic limits of the city as an organism.
Among the great names in painting, an essential reference is *Houses under construction* by Umberto Boccioni, a key figure of futurism, who profoundly influenced the development of European arts in the first half of the 20th century. This is followed by works such as *Piazza d'Italia* by Giorgio de Chirico and *Florence III/XII* by Gerhard Richter, which overlaps painting and photography in an innovative technique.
For sculpture, the American Sol LeWitt is present, representative of Minimal Art, known for his three-dimensional structures based on rigid logical and conceptual systems, of which an *Irregular Tower* is on display. The exhibition also includes *Terzo Paradiso* by Michelangelo Pistoletto, a highly evocative aluminum work, accompanied by a text by Oscar Wilde, and next to it we find *Partition* from 1973 by Dani Karavan and the *Cretto bianco* by Alberto Burri.
