PITTI PIZZA & FRIENDS is a food and wine and cultural event organized by the ALIMENTA Association, creator of the renowned SALERNO PIZZA FESTIVAL 'PATRIMONTO D'ITALIA'. This festival, to be held May 23-26, 2024 in Florence at Piazzale Michelangelo, celebrates the tradition and authenticity of Italian pizza, promoting its cultural and gastronomic relevance.

The event offers a wide variety of experiences, from gastronomic tastings to the participation of experts in the field of nutrition, focusing on the importance of healthy pizza in line with the principles of the Mediterranean diet. There will be a dedicated oven for celiacs and attention will be given to different food intolerances, including lactose intolerance.

The program will include interactive workshops for local hotel schools and an educational initiative for elementary school students, called "at pizza school," which aims to raise awareness of the importance of balanced pizza consumption in school cafeterias.
