The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Festival is one of the oldest and most prestigious classical music and opera festivals in the world. Founded in 1933, it is held every year in Florence and is organized by the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. The event is known for its artistic excellence, combining symphonic music, opera, ballet and theater performances in a varied and world-class programme.

The 87th Festival del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino will be held from 13 April to 1 July 2025 at the Teatro del Maggio in Florence. The program includes a rich selection of operas, symphony concerts and ballets. Here are some of the main events:
