Filidilana is a weaving factory specializing in fine fashion accessories: a fascinating world of artisanal wisdom, an unforgettable experience and a unique opportunity to discover true Tuscan textile manufacturing. Quality, craftsmanship and sustainability are the three principles that guide the production and history of the Filidilana textile company: eco-friendly and socially ethical manufacturing to preserve the well-being of people and the environment.

The deep knowledge of raw materials and the particular attention to artisanal manufacturing allow them to create high-quality, unique and fine items. Their fashion accessories are woven with fine Italian yarns such as cashmere, merino wool, alpaca, linen and silk and give life to beautiful stoles, scarves, foulards, capes, pareos, ponchos and plaids. They will show you the history of the looms, how the fabrics are designed and created with the various jacquards, the infinite chromaticity of the color charts with which they choose the best Italian yarns, they will let you touch the freshly woven canvases!

After the visit, you can access the Filidilana outlet where you can choose and buy their products at real factory prices: choose a beautiful cashmere stole, a soft merino wool poncho or a splendid printed scarf! Filidilana is also easily reachable by train, the Pratignone station is about 400 meters from the headquarters. You can leave from S.M. Novella or Campo di Marte stations of Florence with a direct rapid train and in a few minutes you are there!

Visit to the weaving factory. Illustration of the history of the company and of the artisanal and mechanical looms, with explanation of the various creative and production processes, the vast research of style and the choice of the finest Italian yarns.
Explanations of the textile processing phases, from knotting the threads to creating a canvas
Possibility to purchase in the Outlet, at real factory prices, the various fashion accessories of their production (scarves, stoles, foulards, ponchos, capes and plaids).

NOTES

Filidilana is also easily reachable by train, the Pratignone station is about 400 meters from the headquarters. You can leave from S.M. Novella or Campo di Marte with a direct rapid train and in a few minutes you are there!
