Starting from Giotto you will go through all the masterpieces of the most important artists of what is called the Renaissance, or 'Rebirth'. With this tour you will learn the keys to reading Botticelli?s Birth of Venus and Spring and you will discover what made Leonardo?s paintings some of the most enigmatic works of art in the world!
Our local guide will tell you the anecdotes of this massive collection of paintings done for the Medici family... you will see the portraits of many members of the family that changed the history of Florence; in addition to this you will learn more about the Vasarian Corridor and you will have the possibility to stop for a coffee or a cappuccino on the roof terrace overlooking the Signoria square, from which you will have great views of Brunelleschi?s dome.
