November in Florence: Be.Smart, plan your visit
Events calendar, Firenzecard, Destination Florence: the best of November in Florence with #EnjoyRespectFirenze!
November in Florence? Get lost in your thoughts while visiting museums and bookstores, roam around Chianti admiring the autumnal colors, and discover hidden corners by exploring the city's many treasures.
This month's muse is Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici, the Electress Palatine, the last descendant of the Medici family. Thanks to her Family Pact of 1737, a document in which she ensured that the Medici's assets could never be taken away from Florence, we can all spend endless days meandering the city’s masterpieces. She deserves credit for having made the artistic and cultural heritage of the Medici public. A truly smart icon!
It's our duty to honor it: plan, book ahead, and respect art. The city provides various tools to make that possible:
• Find inspiration on Destination Florence, discover lesser-known places in the city and surroundings, and book your activities in advance
• Use Firenzecard, the city’s museum pass
• Find information on Feel Florence, the Municipality of Florence’s tourism website
